Ghanaian winger Prince Ampem was among the scorers as Shanghai Port secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Wuhan Three Towns at SAIC Motor Pudong Arena in Round 8 of the Chinese Super League.

The 28-year-old forward made an immediate impact after the break, scoring just one minute into the second half. His goal, assisted by Zhurun Liu, doubled Shanghai Port’s lead and set the tone for a dominant display.

Zhen Wei had earlier opened the scoring in the 15th minute, finishing off an assist from Mateus Vital to give the hosts an early advantage. Tyias Browning extended the lead to 3-0 in the 58th minute before Liu capped off the emphatic win with the fourth goal in the 77th minute.

Ampem has now featured in six matches during the 2026 Chinese Super League season, recording one goal and one assist in 355 minutes of action. The versatile attacker continues to play a key role in Shanghai Port’s offensive setup since joining the club on loan.

Shanghai Port will next be in action away to Qingdao Hainiu on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with kickoff scheduled for 11:00 AM as they look to continue their strong league form.
