The hugely talented attacking midfielder has penned a contract at Ajax Amsterdam until the summer of 2027.

Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Levi Acheampong has officially signed a professional contract with Eredivisie giants Ajax ahead of the 2024–25 season's campaign.

The 16-year-old, who has also received promotion to the Ajax senior team, inked his first-ever contract after rosing through the ckubs youth teams since joining them at age seven.

 

The club's official statement reads: “Ajax has signed Levi Acheampong. The attacking midfielder has signed a three-year contract, until June 30, 2027. This is the first contract for the youth player.”

 

 

Acheampong played an instrumental role in Ajax's U17 side's last-season campaign in the Dutch lower-tier league.

 

He is considered one of the most highly-rated U18 offensive midfielders in European football following his exploits at Ajax. 

 

Acheampong has already represented the Netherlands at the U15 and U16 levels. However, he remains eligible to play for Ghana in the future.
