Ghanaian Youngster Amo-Ameyaw Scores For Southampton in Big Win Over Cardiff

English-born Ghanaian youngster Samuel Amo-Ameyaw was on the score sheet for Southampton FC against Cardiff City FC in the EFL Qarabao Cup on Wednesday night.

The younger lasted 90 minutes of the match before he was substituted in the game heading into the additional time period of the frenetic encounter.

Mateus Fernandes broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors in the lead after just 10 minutes of play with a fine strike. 

Eleven minutes later, Robin Colwill grabbed the equalizer for the home team to make it all square halfway through the opening first 45 minutes of the encounter.

On the half hour mark of the match, Amo-Ameyaw restored the Saints lead with a calm finish to make it 2-1 at halftime. 

The host were back in the game once again but this time through an own goal to make it 2-2 after Ronnie Edward's scored at the wrong end of the pitch.

Cameron Archer scored for Southampton but Alex Robertson squared things once again for the home team to make it 3-3.

James Bree and Archer scored during the additional time period to make it 5-3 at full time for the visitors who marches on into the next round.
