Ghanaian attacking midfielder, Daniel Kankam Kyerewaa, has opted not to extend his contract with Schalke and is set to join an undisclosed club in the Bundesliga 2.
At just 21 years old, Kyerewaa has been in outstanding form for Schalke's second team in the Regionalliga League, impressively scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in 32 games.
With aspirations to compete at a higher level, the talented attacking midfielder and Schalke's management have reached an agreement, allowing him to pursue new opportunities. His contract with Schalke will officially expire on June 30, 2023.
Several clubs have shown interest in Kyerewaa, including his former team Dusseldorf, as well as Hamburg SV and Greuther Furth. These clubs recognize his potential and are keen to secure his services for the upcoming season.
