Ghanaian forward Jalal Abdulai showcased his scoring prowess once again for Elfsborg in the Swedish Cup, finding the back of the net for the second consecutive game, this time against Orgryte.

Despite Abdulai's impressive performance, Elfsborg suffered a 3-2 defeat in the round 2 encounter.

Abdulai, who had previously scored against GAIS the weekend before, continued his scoring form by equalizing the score against Orgryte after Noah Christoffersson had given the opponents the lead.

Although substitute Noah Soderberg briefly put Elfsborg in front, Orgryte fought back to secure the victory with goals from Christoffersson and Nicklas Barkroth.

Abdulai's consistent performances are a testament to his growing importance within the Elfsborg squad since joining from Inter Allies in July 2023. Despite the loss, his contributions bode well for the team's future success.

With a contract until December 2027, Abdulai's talent and dedication position him as a key figure in Elfsborg's aspirations moving forward in both domestic and continental competitions.
