Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah has etched his name into Al-Tai's history books by becoming the third player to score 10 goals in the Saudi Pro League for the club.

Mensah achieved this milestone with a stunning solo strike in Al-Tai's recent 4-1 encounter against Al-Ahli Saudi on Saturday, showcasing his exceptional talent and scoring prowess.

Remarkably, Mensah reached this landmark in just 15 games, making him the quickest player in the club's history to achieve this feat.

Algerian forward Amir Sayoud and Congolese striker Guy Mbenza are the only other players to have scored 10 goals for Al-Tai in the Saudi top flight, but they required 27 and 29 games respectively to reach this milestone.

The 27-year-old midfielder joined Al-Tai in the summer transfer window after his contract with Kayserispor expired, and since then, he has been a standout performer for the club, consistently delivering impressive performances on the field.

Despite his success at the club level, Mensah has decided to retire from international football, opting not to represent the Black Stars anymore.
