The English-born Ghanaian attacker won two top awards at the Charlton Athletic end-of-season awards

Crystal Palace loanee Jesurun Rak-Sakyi scooped the club's Supporters’ Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year for the 2022/23 season.

Rak-Sakyi has enjoyed a stellar season with the Addicks, netting on 15 occasions and providing a further eight assists in League One so far.

"The fans’ support is very special. Every time I step onto the pitch they’ve got my back and having them there singing my name just gives me an extra confidence boost,” Rak-Sakyi told the club's official statement.

“When I get the ball, I just really want to thrive and give my best because I know the fans are supporting me every step of the way.”

The 20-year-old is expected to return to Crystal Palace to fight for a spot in the senior team for next season.

Rak-Sakyi made his debut for the Crystal Palace first-team under Patrick Vieira before he was loaned out to Charlton Athletic.

He is eligible to represent Ghana despite playing for the English at the youth levels.
