Former Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities forward, Mathew Anim Cudjoe experienced a relegation blow in the Scottish Premier League as his club Dundee United suffered a defeat at the hands of Kilmarnock FC on Wednesday night.
Dundee United's tenure in the top-flight Scottish league came to an end with a disappointing 3-0 loss to Kilmarnock in the relegation playoffs at Tannadice Park.
In the 14th minute, Kyle Vassell, a forward from Northern Ireland, took advantage of poor defending and scored the opening goal of the match.
Just before halftime, Vassell secured a second goal for the visiting team, strengthening their advantage.
Kilmarnock sealed their victory and secured their safety when Innes Cameron scored the third goal of the match in the 83rd minute, during the penultimate fixture of the season.
Dundee United currently languish at the bottom of the league standings, with 31 points from 37 games and only one match remaining in the 2022-23 campaign.
They are three points behind the safety places and have a goal difference that is eight goals worse off. Their final fixture is an away visit to Motherwell FC on Sunday.
