English Championship outfit Middlesbrough have announced the signing of English-born Ghanaian Terrell Agyemang ahead of the 2023/24 season's campaign.
The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Boro with the option to extend for another season.
The talented defender joins the second-tier side from Manchester City where he was a key figure for the youth teams as they won the 2022/23 English Premier League 2 title.
Terrell had joined City last September after impressing during a trial spell and he made 13 appearances for their Under-21s last season.
He had come through Charlton's Academy before being released at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Agyemang, who was born to Ghanaian parents in London, can play in midfield and at the back.
Agyemang is eligible to represent either Ghana or England at any level in future
