Dutch-born Ghanaian duo Ernest Poku and Jayden Addai were on target for AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday evening.

AZ Alkmaar have progressed to the next round of the 2022/23 UEFA Youth League after trouncing Eintracht Frankfurt 5-0 at the AZ Training Center in Holland.

Hat-trick hero Mexx Meerdink commenced the demolition exercise with his goals in the 3rd and 31st minute of the game.
 
On the 71st minute, Poku extended their lead after connecting a pass from Jayden Addai before Mexx Meerdink completed his hat-trick with a thunderbolt strike on 75th minute.
 
Addai, 17, sealed their emphatic win after brilliantly converting the spot-kick awarded to them on the 91st minute of the game.
 
Addai enjoyed the entire duration of the game while Ernest Poku lasted for 80th minute with 18-year-old goalkeeper Rome Jayden Owusu-Oduro keeping a clean sheet for AZ Alkmaar.
 
Poku, 19, has notched up four goals in five games in the UEFA Youth League this season so far. 
 
Addai has also scored three goals and provided two assists in four matches for AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Youth League this season.
 
Young goalkeeper Owusu-Oduro, Jayden Addai and Ernest Poku are all eligible to represent Ghana in future despite playing for Netherlands at the youth levels.
