Former Dreams FC full-back Abdul Razak Cromwell has completed a transfer to USL League One (USL1) side Central Valley Fuego FC ahead of the upcoming 2023 season.

The California-based outfit confirmed the acquisition of the Ghanaian in the wee hours of Wednesday, February 8, 2023.


Central Valley Fuego and Cromwell were locked in talks in recent times, but an agreement was reached until after January this year.


"Attention all Fuego FC fans! We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our squad - Abdul Razak Cromwell, the talented Defender from Ghana," the club announced on Wednesday.


"Cromwell comes to us from Birmingham Legion FC in the USL Championship league, where he made a name for himself with his exceptional skills on the pitch.


Cromwell expressed his excitement after sealing the move; "I’m extremely excited to join this family. Looking forward to playing in front of our amazing fans and winning trophies together.


"We are confident that Cromwell will bring a new level of excitement and energy to our team. Let's give a warm welcome to Abdul as he joins the Fuego FC familia, the club added.


In the 2019/20 league season, Cromwell featured in 10 games in the USL Championship for Birmingham Legion and went ahead to snatch an assist.
