The 20-year-old, who linked up with his current side during the summer of 2024, believes he stands tall among his playing mates plying their trade in the summit of Swedish football competition

Ghanaian youngster Rockson Yeboah has declared himself the best player in the Swedish Allsvenskan contest, with team-mates and opponents told they are aware of his talent when it comes to showcasing it on the field of play.

The former AEK Athens B defender, who joined IFK Göteborg in this current campaign, has now stirred up a controversy with his latest pronouncement as an upcoming youngster.

In an interview with the Swedish media, the 20-year-old centre-back thinks that his talent set him apart from his other playing body plying their trade in the Swedish top-flight, telling Sportbladet: ''I think it's me. Everyone on the team knows it's me,'' the Ghanaian budding star affirms when quizzed about who remains the best player in the Allsvenskan football competition.

His deal with the Gothenburg-based club would be up in 2028 after teaming up with them from Ghanaian outfit Young African Promises FC this summer.

He's yet to earn his international cap with the Ghana Men's Senior National Team, the Black Stars at the international level.
