The Turkish heavyweights have set sights on the 26-year-old defender in an effort to land his services ahead of the closure of the winter transfer window in Turkey

Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray SK have reportedly expressed interest in securing the services of Ghana international centre-back Jerome Opoku from fellow league rivals İstanbul Başakşehir FK, a report from the Turkish media has stated.

With the winter transfer window in Turkey to be closed on February 11, the Aslan are working around the clock to land the former Fulham youth man as they are hell-bent to reinvigorate their defensive setup with his acquisition this winter.

According to SPORX, the Ghana international employers have asked the lstanbul-based club to fork out an amount of 9 million euros for their dependable stopper as he is highly revered by his manager Çağdaş Atan.

The report added that the 26-year-old is open to linking up with the RAMS Park campaigners provided a deal between both parties is reached over his transfer move this winter.
