Ghanaian forward, Bernard Mensah earlier today, scored a hatrick for Al Tai but unfortunately suffered a painful 4-3 loss to Al Ettifaq in match-day 7 of the Saudi Pro League.
The 28-year-old was included in the starting line up and exhibited a five star display but wasn't enough to secure them victory, having moved on to last the entire duration of the game.
Gigi Wijnaldum opened the scoring account in just two minutes from kickoff for the host. He went on to hit a brace alongside Moussa Dembele to get the win for Steven Gerrard's side.
However, Bernard Mensah scored his first in a one on one situation on the 10th minute, scored again on the 36th minute mark before scoring once more in the second half to complete his hatrick.
Al Tai after the seventh round of matches, are currently sitting 10th on the league log with seven points after seven matches.
