Ghanaian striker Kwabena Owusu was on target in Ferencvaros TC resounding victory over FK Cukaricki in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday evening.
Ferencvaros TC came from behind to secure a 3-1 win over the Serbian SuperLiga side in the match-day one of Group F at the Groupama Arena.
The visitors took the lead through Djorde Ivanovic in the 26th minute before a 44th minute was brilliantly converted by Barnabas Varga.
Owusu ensured the Hungarian club a deserving lead before the break after making a good use of Barnabas Varga's pass during the last minutes of the additional time for the recess.
Serbian international Aleksandar Pesic placed the last nail into the coffin in the 79th minute to finish the match in a 3-1 victory for Ferencvaros TC.
Owusu was substituted by Krisztian Lisztes after enjoying 74 minute of the match with a sterling performance.
He has netted four goals and provided two assists in 11 matches in all competitions for Ferencvaros TC in the ongoing season
