Turkish Super Lig side, Kasimpasa SK have opened talks with Ghanaian international Bernard Mensah and are willing to re-secure his service ahead of the upcoming season
The 30-year-old is currently unattached and is in search of a new club having left Saudi topflight side Al Riyadh where he made nine-goal contributions (5 goals, 4 assists) in 29 appearances
The versatile midfielder spent ten years in Europe before moving to Middle East having featured for clubs like Atletico Madrid, Vitoria Guimaraes, Kasimpasa, Kayserispor, Getafe and others
He left for Saudi Arabia in 2023 where he first switched to Al Tai before subsequently joining the Red-Blacks and is now set to return to Europe
Reports has it that, Kasimpasa have been seduced by Bernard’s first spell and his recent performances and feels his addition into their squad next season will be so influential and have offered him a two-year contract which he will be signing very soon should both parties reach an agreement in the coming weeks
His first spell with them was a season long loan move in the 2017/18 season where he netted five goals in 30 league matches
Bernard Mensah made just five appearances for the Black Stars before finally called it a quit due to consistent snubs
