Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey won the Bulgarian Parva Liga title for the fourth straight time after a 2-0 win against Cherno More in the Championship playoffs.

Tekpetey has not been involved much this season due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear, an injury he sustained during their game against Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round.

The Eagles remained focused to know that only a win would guarantee it retained the league title ahead of Levski.

The former Schalke O4 and SC Paderborn attacker Tekpetey has had a sterling period in Bulgaria, winning nine trophies with Ludogorets in the five seasons he had been in the books of the Eagles.

The 27-year-old, who has started training, but yet to fully recover, will team up with the rest of the Ludogorets squad on Saturday at the Huvepharma Arena before their match against Levski to celebrate their latest triumph.

He featured in seven matches across all competitions, notching two goals for Ludogorets.
