Ghana international defensive midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has clinched the 3F Superliga Young Player of Year Award for the 2025/26 football season.

The 20-year-old, who is destined to leave the Danish elite division this summer, was adjudged with the accolade given his splendid outings with FC Nordsjælland across all contests so far this term.
The Manchester United and Liverpool transfer target beat the likes of Marcus McCoy, Julius Berthel Askou, Prince Junior, Olti Hyseni, Jacob Ambæk, Sofus Johannesen and Thomas Jørgensen to win the prestigious individual accolade under the year review.

Yirenkyi, who is in contention to make an appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has won 8 caps for the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars on the international stage.
