The experienced defender has mutually severed ties with the Belgian elite division club, with his running contract to come to a close in 2026 

Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp have mutually parted ways with Ghanaian defender Denis Odoi ahead of the new football season, the club have confirmed.

The 37-year-old experienced right-back is bringing his marriage with the Bosuil Stadium campaigners to an end after spending one season with them in the top-flight.

An official confirmation over the departure of the former Fulham defender read via the club's official website: ''Denis Odoi (37) is leaving RAFC. Although Odoi still had a contract for one season, the player and the club have mutually decided to terminate that agreement.RAFC would like to thank Denis for his efforts last season and wish him every success in his future career.''

Before going his separate ways with Royal Antwerp this summer, Odoi figured in 32 games across all competitions in the just concluded 2024-25 campaign.

He is so far boasting of 14 caps with Ghana Senior National Team since switching nationality allegiance to represent the four-time African champions in 2022.
