The Danish seventh tier outfit have affirmed the capturing of the experienced midfield enforcer as he is set to play a dual role for his new side ahead of the start of the new football season
Veteran Ghana international defensive midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu has joined Danish Series 1 side Værløse BK as a player-coach, club's manager Martin Beck has confirmed.
The 35-year-old former Malmö FF mercurial enforcer is set to play an integral role for his new employers, with both technical and playing tasks set to be taken in at the Værløse Stadium in the lowly division contest for the majority part of the campaigns.
The Swedish gaffer has confirmed the capturing of the experienced enforcer to TIPSBLADET: ''A verbal agreement has been made that Enoch Kofi Adu will start as a playing assistant coach in Værløse and will have his first match tomorrow away against Farum BK. We are looking forward to it.''
The signing of the former Liberty Professionals man is set to benefit the Værløse-based club immensely given his vast experience in football contests across Europe, having already taken spells with Nice, AIK, FC Nordsjaelland, Stabæk Football, Club Brugge, Ekenäs IF, Mjällby AIF and Malmö FF so far in his playing career.
With international duty seemingly over for Enoch, he currently boasts of one cap with the Ghana senior national team on the international stage.
