The Turkish elite division side have severed ties with the former Hanover 96 man following the expiration of his deal at the end of the just ended campaign

Ghana international winger Kingsley Schindler have parted company with Süper Lig side Samsunspor ahead of the start of the new football season, the club have announced.

The 31-year-old ex-FC Cologne widesman is now going his separate ways with the Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium outfit after failing to get a fresh term upon the end of his deal this summer.

An official statement over the release of the Ghanaian winger read via the club's micro-blogging platform Instagram: ''Thank you Kingsley Schindler. Since the day you joined our family and throughout this historic season, you have left an important mark on this city with your struggle on the field, your ambition and your sense of belonging to our jersey. In a short time, you have become a part of the red-white colors and this emblem. Now, our paths may be parting, but we will always remember you fondly as one of the important heroes of this historic season. We wish you success in your new journey. This city, this club will not forget you."

He was involved in 37 games by netting and assisting 2 for Samsunspor across all competitions in this recently concluded 2024-25 campaign.

He currently boasts of 8 caps with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team since switching nationality allegiance to represent the west African nation at the international level in March 2023.
