The Ghanaian defender is set to seal a loan deal with the French top-flight outfit in this ongoing winter transfer window
French Ligue 1 side FC Lorient are closing in on Black Meteors centre-back Nathaniel Adjei, multiple reports from the French media have claimed.
The 21-year-old towering guardsman will be joining the Stade du Moustoir campaigners on an initial loan deal after which the deal will be made permanent at the end of this campaign as per reports from the French press.
The reports further claimed that the Leeds United wanted man is currently in the city of Lorient to undergo his medicals after which he will be made to put pen to paper on the terms in order to begin life in the French elite division contest for the 2023/24 football season.
Adjei, currently on the books of Swedish Allsvanskan side, Hammarby IF is one of the most sought-after centre-backs in this current transfer window, with clubs from Spain, England and France all gunning for his services so far this term.
His deal with Hammarby IF will expire in 2026 and he's yet to earn his international cap with the men's senior national team, the Black Stars.
