The Ghanaian defender is nearing a loan switch to the Swiss top-tier side from his German mother club
Swiss Super League side BSC Young Boys are set to secure the loan signing of Ghana centre-back Patric Pfeiffer from Bundesliga outfit FC Augsburg.
The 24-year-old, who linked up with the German top-flight side on a free transfer last term, is set to spend the 2024-25 football season on loan at the Stadion Wankdorf until the end of the campaign.
Reports from the German media have claimed that the ex-Hamburger SV man will be undergoing his mandatory medical examinations and could sign on the dotted lines in the coming days provided he is given a clean bill of health by their medical personnel.
Pfeiffer is yet to earn his international cap with Ghana at the international level after switching nationality allegiance to represent the West African powerhouse.
