The 23-year-old has been an ever-present figure in the set-up of the Die Rothosen since the start of the current campaign. However, his immense contributions with 14 goals in 32 games in the top-flight played an integral role for his side in clinching qualification to the Bundesliga this term after seven years in the second division contest.
Ransford, who netted twice in their 6-1 trouncing against Ulm in their penultimate fixture for this season, is expected to be an important figure for manager Merlin Polzin in the German elite competition next season.
He currently boasts of 4 caps with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team, the Black Stars since switching nationality allegiance to represent the west African superpowers at the international level.
