Ghanaian attacker Ibrahim Sadiq registered a brace to propel BK Hacken to the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League group stage following a 3-1 away win over Aberdeen FC.

BK Hacken have secured qualification to the group stage of this season's Europa League on a 5-4 aggregate after the first leg tie had ended in a 2-2 at the Boraas Arena last Thursday.

The 23-year-old opened the floodgate for BK Hacken in the 14th minute with a fine strike when he slotted the ball past goalkeeper Kelle Roos.

The former Ghana youth international doubled their lead on the stroke of halftime to end the first half in a 2-0 win in favor of BK Hacken at the Pittodrie Stadium.

North Macedonian striker Bojan Miosvki pulled one back for the home side just after recess when he converted a spot kick.

However, the two-goal lead was restored by Tunisia international forward Amor Layouni who found the back of the net from the spot on the 81st minute of the game.

Sadiq has now netted 20 goals in 24 game outings for BK Hacken across all competitions this season so far.

He has five goals in four matches in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League qualifiers.
