Spanish La Liga 2 outfit Granada CF have announced the acquisition of Ghanaian centre-back Philip Osei on the transfer deadline day.
Osei has joined the second-tier club on a three-year deal after ending his stay at Rayo Majadahonda last month.
The 22-year-old will be playing for the club's reserve side Recreativo Granada as part of his development process.
The club's official statement reads “Granada CF has reached an agreement with the player Philip Osei for his incorporation to Recreativo Granada from Rayo Majadahonda. The Ghanaian player signs for three seasons.”
The former Medeama SC defender spent last two seasons at Rayo Majadahonda and established himself as a top performer at the club.
He played 39 games in the former Second Division B and, last season, in the First RFEF.
Osei is yet to represent Ghana at any level.
