African football legend, Yaya Toure has applauded Thomas Partey for his instant impact at Arsenal since joining them and described him as a brilliant footballer.

The four time African best player really made a great mark during his playing days and one of the amazing highlights of his career was during his spell with Manchester City, where he played an integral role to aid them win the Premier League in 2012 and 2014.

The 28 year old switched to the Londoners in the summer of 2020 from Athletico Madrid, and has been a mainstay since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium.
 
He's been influential for Arsenal and is the reason they are five points up on the league standing and could end the club's almost eighteen-year abeyance of not winning the EPL.
 
Partey, has enjoyed 25 matches so far this season in all competitions with just three goals to his belt. 
 
In a post-match discussions on TalkSports after the Arsenal - Bournemouth game, the Ivorian was impressed with Partey's outstanding display and added he will wish to watch him play every weekend. 
 
"Yeah he’s brilliant, it’s really nice to see," Toure told talkSPORT. “I think now every weekend when Arsenal have to play, I have to be honest, I would go just to watch him. He’s just unbelievable.”
 
Thomas Partey is expected to start tonight against Sporting CP in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
