Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has lauded Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey for his exceptional display in their 5-1 victory over Sporting CP on Tuesday.
Partey, 30, played a pivotal role in the Gunners' dominant win at the Estádio José Alvalade, controlling the tempo of the match with his precise passing and vision.
"I think it’s one of the best performances I’ve seen from him, especially in the way he’s dominated the game," Arteta said post-match.
"He’s been incredibly consistent this season, always fulfilling his role to perfection, which is crucial. He’s a massive player for us," Arteta continued.
Partey has featured in 18 matches for Arsenal across all competitions this season and will look to maintain his excellent form as the Gunners prepare to face West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.
