Hull City midfielder, Darko Gyabi has expressed strong interest in playing for Ghana stating he has a whole family there at the moment and hasn’t forgotten about his Ghanaian root. 

The 21-year-old was born in England, London precisely and has a Ghanaian parentage which makes him eligible to play for the Black Stars. 

Gyabi has already represented England at youth level having passed through all ranks and last fearured for the U21 in 2024. 

Speaking in a recent interview, the mercurial middleman says he definitely has Ghana in his mind and might wish to play for them in future

“I definitely know Ghana can be an option in the future, it’s all about timing. My Ghanaian roots are part of who I am. I love going back to Ghana. My whole family is from there.”

Gyabi has shown steady progress this season, scoring one goal in 14 games, and his profile as a young, dynamic midfielder could add depth and energy to the Black Stars if he chooses Ghana.
