Black Stars defender, Baba Abdul Rahman has rubbished claims that he is joining Turkish giants Galatasaray this summer as speculated earlier.
The 27 year old in the just ended season was on loan at Reading FC from Chelsea where he made 29 appearances with an assist in the 2021/22 Championship.
At the moment, the lanky defender is expected to return to his parent club where he still have two years left in his contract but is most likely he will go out for another loan spell in the upcoming season.
However, the ex- Schalke O4 lateral has stated he was in Istanbul- the Turkish capital for personal reasons and has nothing to do with him joining Galatasaray.
"I am just in Istanbul for personal reasons, all what people are saying that I am going to join Galatasaray are false,” he told SportsWorldGhana.
Baba Rahman, 27, has included in the just-announced Black Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the Kirin Cup invitational tournament.
