Black Stars defender Alexander Djiku has revealed that he will be staying at French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg this season.
Alexander Djiku inched closer to a sensational switch to Bundesliga giants TSG Hoffenheim, but the move fell through after even passing his medicals.
The 27-year-old has a-year remaining on his existing contract with Strasbourg.
Djiku featured in Strasbourg's 2-1 defeat to Monaco at the Stade de la Meinau.
The Strasbourg stalwart has been a mainstay in the Ghanaian national team since making his debut in a friendly against Mali in 2020.
Djiku says he will be staying at the French Ligue 1 outfit until the end of the season.
"I am in Strasbourg, I am very well. I have one year left on my contract and I will do everything to stay here," Djiku said as reported by news.maxifoot.fr.
