The former BK Hacken frontman has sealed his move to the Swedish second division side in the ongoing summer transfer window
Swedish Superettan side Norrby IF have announced the signing of Ghanaian international striker Nasiru Mohamed until the end of the 2022-23 football season.
The 28-year-old joins the Boras Arena outfit on a free transfer following his successful trials over the past weeks after failing to secure a contract extension with his former employers in the top-flight this term.
" It is with great pleasure that we can today present striker Nasiru Mohammed as our latest new acquisition. The 28-year-old, who played almost 170 Allsvenskan matches for BK Häcken, has signed an agreement that extends over this season," a statement over the signing of the former Ghana U-17 skipper reads.
Sporting director Lasse Nilsson expressed his delight at signing the forward as he was left touting his qualities given his impressive stint with BK Hacken in the Swedish Allsvenskan campaign.
"We are very happy that he has chosen to come here and complete the season with us. Nasiru is a quality player, which he showed in both Häcken and during his time in Levski Sofia. We hope that he can quickly get in match shape and be able to help the team offensively," Lasse Nilsson said to his club's communications network.
Born in Kumasi, he is yet to be capped by Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
