The 23-year-old midfield enforcer has completed his loan switch to the Spanish lower division side in the ongoing summer transfer window
Spanish Segunda Division side SD Ponferradina have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian midfielder Sabit Abdulai from top-flight side Getafe CF until the end of the 2022-23 football season.
The talented central midfielder is joining the Estadio El Toralín outfit to kick-starts his career having suffered a serious injury that kept him out for the major part of the league campaign during the 2021-22 season.
A club's statement from the Spanish second division outfit confirming the capture of the former Extremadura man reads: "Midfielder Sabit Abdulai, (Techiman, Ghana, 1999) joins SD Ponferradina. The new blue and white midfielder comes from Getafe CF, which has agreed to transfer him to Deportiva."
Sabit made his first appearance in the Spanish LaLiga Santander with Getafe CF in a match against CA Osasuna on April 3, 2021.
Born in Techiman, he is yet to be capped by Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
