Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew has provided insight into why he can run tirelessly during games for his club side, Crystal Palace, without experiencing fatigue.

The 32-year-old footballer shared that his secret is getting ample rest, which allows him to maintain high energy levels on the field.

Jordan Ayew is widely praised for his performances in both the Premier League and when representing Ghana's national team, the Black Stars. He is known for his dedication to both attacking and defensive duties, often seen tracking back to help the team.

During an interview with Crystal Palace's media team after winning the August Player of the Month award, Ayew was asked about his ability to run without getting tired. He humorously replied, "I rest a lot, that's why I run a lot."

In August, Jordan Ayew contributed three assists in four games across the Premier League and the Carabao Cup.

Regarding the award, he expressed his gratitude, saying, "It's been a while – a very long time since I've gotten a trophy as well!" Ayew added, "I'd just like to thank everyone – the fans, the club, and the staff – for supporting me since Roy [Hodgson] has come in."

Currently, Ayew is with the Black Stars as they prepare for an international friendly against Liberia, which is set to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday. This friendly follows their qualification for the 2023 AFCON after defeating the Central African Republic.
