The English second tier outfit have affirmed their interest in securing the loan services of the 23-year-old from the elite division side in this January transfer window

Swansea City boss Vitor Matos has confirmed his side's interest in signing English-born Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Premier League club Crystal Palace on loan for the remainder of the current campaign.

The promising left-footed flanksman, whose loan spell with Turkish top-flight side Caykur Rizespor was cut short this winter, is now a wanted man by a host of interested suitors across Europe, with Stoke City, Coventry City and Swansea City all credited with a move for his loan services in this January window.

ln reacting over the speculation linking the former Sheffield United loanee to the Wales-based club, the man in charge of the dugout at the Liberty Stadium has now opened up on their pursuit over the Ghana-prospect widesman as being quoted by the BBC Sport: ''I think not only for us, I think he's a player of interest of a lot of teams. That's why he played last season at Sheffield United. So he's a player who has a lot of things, like I said, that we like, but that doesn't mean anything for the future."

Before he was recalled from his loan stint by the Eagles, Rak-Sakyi featured in 13 games by scoring 4 and setting up once for Caykur Rizespor across all competitions in this 2025/26 football campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the London-born winger remains fit to switch international allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage having featured for the England U20 & U21 national youth teams.
