Manchester City new capture, Jeremy Doku has stated he wants to keep improving on this new challenge and wants become one of the fans favourite going forward.

The 21-year-old has arrived on a very good note at the Etihad and has already made two appearances hoping for more subsequently.

He debuted against Fulham before the international break but improved so much against West Ham United over the weekend and netted his first goal in that game- one that started the comeback for the Cityzens.

Speaking in an interview, the speedster says the style at Manchester City is different from his former club and hopes to improve and learn and establish himself as a mainstay in the team.

"From the last game [Fulham] I learned that you have to be calm. The massive thing is to not lose the ball - I can still improve on that. It’s about being calm on the ball and having confidence and I want to keep improving on that but today was a success."

“It’s a pleasure [playing with new teammates]. I like to play with them of course. On TV they are very good but in real life they are even better.”

Jeremy Doku will hope to make the starting line up for the third consecutive time when Man City start their UEFA Champions League defence against Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
