The talented Ghanaian attacking midfielder is set to seal a move from the Boraas Arena outfit this summer after attracting interest from clubs in England and Austria.
Swedish Allsvenskan side IF Elfsborg has received mouthwatering offers from Austrian Bundesliga club LASK Linz and English Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle for a possible transfer before the summer transfer window closes on Friday.
The sporting director of IF Elfsborg, Stefan Andreasson, revealed in an interview with Swedish newspaper Sportbladet that the 25-year-old midfielder is among the players at the club who could leave this summer following interests from clubs in Europe.
When asked, he said, "We have some discussions. There is a lot of interest and requests.
"We have had all the focus on the Allsvenskan and advancing in the European games. Then we know we have to make certain decisions. I guess Baidoo is one of those players. You can guess yourself." He concluded.
The former Ghana U20 star has been on the radar of several clubs, including Leicester City and Southampton, following his exploits in the Swedish Allsvenskan since last season.
How Michael Baidoo has fared with IF Elfsborg this season
Baidoo has been a standout performer at IF Elfsborg for the past two seasons and has scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in 26 appearances for the club in this season's campaign across all competitions.
The Ghanaian international is expected not to be part of IF Elfsborg's squad for the UEFA Europa League qualification playoffs second-leg tie against Molde BK on Thursday.
