Ghanaian midfielder, Salis Abdul Samed has expressed elation after officially joining French Ligue 1 fold OGC Nice on a three-year deal, as reported by trusted sports-hub Kickgh.com. 

The 25-year-old spent a season long-loan at Sunderland in the last campaign and was part of their promotion back in the Premier League even though he made only ten eleven appearances in all competitions. He missed out on the majority part due to consistent injuries and setbacks. 

Salis, returned to his parent club RC Lens afterwards and has now been sold out to the Allianz Rivera-based club for a fee of €2.5 million, including a future sell-on clause

Speaking after his move, Salis said he is super delighted for this opportunity and is ready to play his hearts out to help the club achieve success 

"I'm delighted to be joining Le Gym, an ambitious, European club," he said, eager to reconnect with his former coach.

"I'm also delighted to be back with the coach. I'm going to give my all to help the team and make the fans proud."

The former Clermont Foot midfielder will be looking to reignite his career and recapture the form that once made him one of the most promising midfielders in Ligue 1.

Salis Abdul Samed was recently part of the Black Stars squad at the Unity Cup tournament that was held in London months ago
