Ghanaian international, Jordan Ayew has shared elation after netting his first goal for Leicester City and added he believed in himself and always knew this day was always going to come.
The 33-year-old scored the winner to propel the Foxes to an emphatic 2-3 comeback win over Southampton in what was an exciting Premier League week ten fixture over the weekend.
Cameron Archer opened the scoring account before Nigeria's Joe Aribo doubled his lead.
Facundo Buonanotte started the fightback on the 64th minute, Jamie Vardy levelled things up ten minutes later before Jordan Ayew scored at the death to seal the win.
Reacting to the win and his goal, the lanky striker felt very excited for the moment and is hoping to help Leicester win more matches going forward.
“It was obviously my first goal for the club in the league, and it took a bit of time, but I believe in myself and my abilities. I know I can contribute a lot, and I’m happy for the fans, for myself, and for my family.”
