Ghana striker Inaki Williams was on target in Athletic Bilbao's five-goal thriller win over Villarreal in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday afternoon.
Williams notched up his fifth goal for the 2023/24 season's campaign to aid Bilbao to secure a 3-2 away win over Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
Athletic Bilbao condemned the host to home defeat by scoring three goals in thirty minutes goal of the game courtesy goals from Inigo Ruiz De Galarreta and Nico Williams in the 2nd and 22nd minute.
Inaki Williams found the back of the net to give his side a 3-0 lead before the break with a fine strike from a pass delivered by Oihan Sancet in the 30th minute.
Late second half goals Alexander Sorloth and Gerard Moreno wasn't enough to secure point for Villarreal as it ended in a 3-2 for Athletic Bilbao.
Inaki Williams lasted for 87 minutes before he was replaced by Spanish international Asier Villalibre.
He has scored five goals and provided three assists in 12 league appearances for Athletic Bilbao.
