Ghana striker Inaki Williams has ended his goal drought for Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey semi-final against Osasuna after six months on Tuesday evening.
Athletic Bilbao have suffered an elimination from the Copa del Rey on a 2-1 aggregate to second-tier side Osasuna after the reverse fixture ended a one-all draw at the San Memes Stadium.
Williams opened the score for Athletic Bilbao with a fine strike after tapping in a ball from Mikel Vesga on the 33rd minute of the game.
The first leg tie which ended in a 1-0 win for Osasuna forced the fixture into extra-time where Pablo Ibanez scored an important goal to cancel out Inaki Williams' early goal to seal a spot in the final for the visitors.
Williams, who has capped six times for the senior national team of Ghana, lasted for the entire duration of the game with a sterling performance.
He has scored six goals and provided four assists in 31 game outings for Athletic Bilbao across all competitions
