Bernard Somuah Sarpong has officially bid goodbye to Asante Kotoko after completing a move to Spanish side Celta Vigo.
The 18-year-old winger will start his journey with Celta Vigo's youth team, RC Celta Fortuna, where he will continue his development.
Somuah joins Celta Vigo on a season-long loan deal with an option for a permanent transfer at the end of the season. The Spanish club's decision to bring him on board underscores their confidence in his potential to make a significant impact at the professional level.
RC Celta Fortuna competes in the Primera Federación Group 1, the third tier of Spanish football, providing Somuah with a solid platform to hone his skills and gain valuable experience.
Before departing for Spain, Somuah expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Asante Kotoko for their unwavering support during his time at the club.
"I want to thank everyone for their support and advice throughout my stay with Kotoko. It hurts to leave, but we must give thanks to God. I also want to express my gratitude to the technical team and my teammates," Somuah said during his farewell.
Having already left Ghana, Somuah is set to join his new team in Spain, where he will begin the next chapter of his promising career.
