The 21-year-old has affirmed his imminent departure from the Swedish top-flight outfit to the French elite division campaigners in this current transfer market

Ghanaian centre-back Kojo Peprah Oppong has confirmed his impending transfer move to Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, with the deal said to be ''very close'' as he feels the move would be a good step in his career. 

The Attram de Visser Soccer Academy product, currently on the books of Swedish Allsvenskan side IFK Norrköping, has been a hot commodity among suitors, with Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, FC Midtjylland and FC Copenhagen all  currently gunning for his signature this summer.

ln confirming the imminent transfer move to the Nice-based club, the talented youngster told Swedish newspaper Norrköpings Tidningar: ''I think it might have been... We'll see, but I hope Norrköping's fans understand. It's very close. I hope for the best and feel that it would be a good step in that case.'' 

With Peprah's running contract set to expire in December 2026, those in charge of affairs at the PlatinumCars Arena are believed to demand a fee in the region of 4 million euros in excess for their prized asset given his potential as a promising prospect.

He has so far been involved in 17 games for IFK across all competitions in this current Swedish 2025 football campaign.

Peprah has already been tipped for greatness in his footballing career as he could soon become an important figure for the Ghana Senior Men's National Team on the international stage.
