Super League Greece side Aris FC have announced the signing of Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Gabriel Misehouy on loan from La Liga club Girona on a one-year contract.

The promising winger, who has so far found game time hard to come, has now been moved on to the aforementioned suitors in order to gain much playing time ahead of the 2025-26 season.

An excerpt of official statement over the loan signing of the Ajax youth product read: ''ARIS FC announces the acquisition of Gabriel Misehouy on a one-year loan from Girona.Gabriel Osei Misehouy, as his full name is, was born on July 18, 2005 in Amsterdam. From a young age, he joined the Ajax academy, reaching the second team of "Ajax" (44 appearances, 11 goals, 4 assists).

The potential Ghana-prospect winger has said of his loan switch to his new side via the club's official website: ''I hope we have an exciting and successful season. RIS showed me great confidence from the first moment they expressed their interest in bringing me here. The people on the team won me over with their behavior, and I must say that I also liked the project they presented to me.

''So it wasn't difficult for me to accept ARIS' offer and reject others I had. I feel great that I am now a member of this club and I promise to repay the trust on the pitch.I'm looking forward to starting training and meeting our fans, who I've heard create an incredible atmosphere at the games.

''The ideal scenario for me is to win a title with ARIS. We will give it our all to stand out in Greece and in the Conference League to qualify for the League Phase.I hope we have an exciting and successful season."

He netted once in 9 games for Girona in the recently concluded 2024-25 football season in the Spanish top-flight.

Having played for The Netherlands U16, U17 & U18 national youth teams, the Amsterdam-born rising star still remains eligible to represent Ghana on the international stage.
