Italian-Ghanaian forward Kelvin Yeboah was on target as Minnesota United came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw against Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer (MLS).

The striker delivered another impressive performance at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, scoring the equaliser as Minnesota fought back from a goal down to earn a valuable point on the road.

Colorado Rapids opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time through Darren Yapi, but Yeboah restored parity for Minnesota United seven minutes after the break with a well-taken finish.

The goal continued Yeboah’s outstanding campaign, with the forward also earning the Man of the Match award from Sofascore after receiving a rating of 7.5. He was also voted the club’s best performer by supporters.

Colorado regained the lead in the 74th minute when Georgi Minoungou found the net, but Minnesota responded late as Loïc Williams scored an own goal in the 83rd minute to level the contest.

The draw left Colorado Rapids 15th in the Western Conference with 38 points, while Minnesota United remain 26th on 31 points.

Despite Colorado dominating possession with 61 percent of the ball, Minnesota showed resilience to secure a share of the points.

Yeboah has been in excellent form this season, making 28 appearances in the 2026 MLS campaign, scoring 16 goals and providing two assists.

Minnesota United will next face St. Louis on October 17 as Yeboah looks to continue his impressive scoring run.
