Italian Serie C side SS Arezzo has signed Ghanaian forward Joseph Ekuban on a short-term deal, with an option of extension to a year if he excels.

"Double market operation for Arezzo on the last day of trading. Striker Joseph Ekuban arrives in Amaranth from Monterosi, while Mattia Iori goes to Lumezzane on a costly loan until the end of the season. Ekuban, born in 2000, Ghanaian, has made 15 appearances for the Lazio team this season while his overall appearances in Serie C are 95 with 6 goals to his name. His brother Caleb plays in Serie A with Genoa and scored a splendid bicycle kick goal in the last round against Lecce. Ekuban, who is a sibling to Genoa CFC Ghana international forward, Caleb Ekuban, is yet to earn his international cap with Ghana on the international stage.
