Hugely talented Ghanaian forward Jayden Addai provided an assist in AZ Alkmaar 4-0 big win over Real Madrid to secure semi-final berth of the 2022/23 UEFA Youth League on Wednesday afternoon.

Addai set up his fellow Dutch-born of Ghanaian descent Ernest Poku with a fine pass to register his fifth goal in the UEFA Youth League this season.

 
AZ Alkmaar secured a semi-final spot in the 2022/23 UEFA Youth League after whipping the U19 side of the European giants 4-0 in a thrilling game at the AFAS Training Complex in Netherlands.
 
On the 29th minute, Poku registered his name on the score sheet by doubling the lead for AZ Alkmaar after two-goal hero Daniel Beukers had opened the floodgate in the 25th minute of the game.
 
Dutch U21 star Mexx Meerdink extended their lead to 3-0 on the 78th minute with a brilliant strike before Daniel Beukers completed their demolition exercise with his second goal on the 85th minute.
 
Addai lasted for 72 minutes while Ernest Poku enjoyed 80 minutes with 18-year-old goalkeeper Rome Jayden Owusu-Oduro keeping a clean sheet for AZ Alkmaar.
 
Addai has scored three goals and provided three assists in five matches for AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Youth League this season
 
Young goalkeeper Owusu-Oduro, Jayden Addai and Ernest Poku are all eligible to represent Ghana in future despite playing for Netherlands at the youth levels.
