Dutch-born of Ghanaian descent, Jeffrey Sarpong is set to join Greek top-flight side Veria FC, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.
The former Real Sociedad winger is reportedly signing for the Rossoblu lads before the summer transfer window closes.
The 28-year-old is now a free agent after his two-year deal with Australian side Wellington Phoenix was terminated in January.
He made only 13 appearances for the Australian A-League side before his contract was terminated.
Sarpong was a member of Netherland squad that represented in the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Peru and he is still eligible to play for Ghana.
