English-born of Ghanaian decent, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi was on target for Crystal Palace in their 2-2 draw with Danish side Brøndby IF in a preseason friendly.

The 20 year old's persistent stellar display was replicated in the epic friendly today in a tie they dominated right from onset but failed to carry the day.

The young sensation opened the scoring account on the 35th minute but Brøndby got the equalizer just three minutes later from the break through Mathias Kvistgaarden.

Jean Phillipe Mateta restored the Eagles lead just two minutes later before Kvistgaarden netted again to level things up and also seal his brace.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi spent the entire last season at English League One side Charlton Athletic where he contributed to 25 goals in 50 appearances in all competitions; scoring 15 and providing 10 assists.

A blistering display which earned the prestigious Player of the Season.

He will hope to impress manager Roy Hodgson in the preseason to establish himself as a mainstay in the team next season.
