Opoku, who is only 22 years old, wasted no time in making an impact, finding the back of the net in just his second appearance for Montreal. His goal came in the 29th minute of the match at the Saputo Stadium, where he skillfully finished off a beautiful team play to give his side the lead.
The young Ghanaian's precise finish not only put Montreal in the lead but also provided a significant boost to his growing career.
Buoyed by Opoku's goal, CF Montreal continued to dominate the game, further extending their advantage just moments later. Nigerian forward Chinonso Offor capitalized on an assist from Canadian defender Joel Waterman to secure the victory with their second goal of the evening.
Kwadwo Opoku, who recently completed his move to CF Montreal, has already made an immediate impact since joining the team. His debut goal and overall performance highlight his potential and value to the club.
